Arif Ugurlu has been running the lake arena Hechtsee together with his family for about 15 years. “I consider it as something very special to make the guests in my house feel happy by catering them as if he was sitting in my own living room.” Which proves him to be a restaurateur having been acting upon his conviction for many years. “Thanks to my Turkish-Austrian origin I feel associated with the Mediterranean way of living, I like combining exquisite meals with high-grad wines. Feeling at home in a laid-back atmosphere – cheerfulness in a tasteful ambience together with an easy-going small-talk between host and customer is part and parcel of my job.
And when the customer decides after his dinner to come again, I have achieved my goal.”
